Two years ago on a trip to Atlanta in Georgia USA I saw hundreds and hundreds of Orange Balls. Well that is what they looked like to me. Anyway Georgia Peach Jimby kindly told me they were Pumpkins and used at Halloween for Jack 'O' Lanterns.

So here is my first attempt. Eventually after a false start I had to let Mr Mick cut the bottom off

We thought these were the tools that were needed but I think we worried GP's Grandma with our lack of knowledge

I knew we had to get the seeds out after Mr Mick had cut the bottom off. That was because Miss Ann wanted to dry them in the oven.

I had to put them in a bowl first as there were strands of pumpkin all over them.

Now to get the flesh out as again Miss Ann had a use for it. Some mention of a cake.

Soon finished it and Miss Ann had a big dish ready for a cake.

Not quite sure if my art work was OK but who cares really.
